workshop breakfast set
join us in this workshop and learn the basics of slip casting porcelain.
(slipcasting is a way of making a ceramic object by pouring liquid porcelain into a plaster mould)
after a short introduction, we will explain how to make your own breakfast set (2 big teacups and 2 breakfast bowls) from existing moulds that we provide for you. you’re free to experiment using different colours and decoration techniques.
it takes a while for the porcelain to dry, so we will glaze and fire the castings for you. your work can be picked up (or sent to you) a week after the workshop.
